QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE ACTIONS OF THE TSARNAEV'S FOLLOWING APRIL 15TH
- If Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev were "radicalized" and committed these acts, why then, did they use NO disguises what-so-ever, nor attempt to flee the area, let alone the country, after the fact?
- Why were their faces fully visible at all times, in all photos, with no attempt to hide or disguise their most identifying attributes?
- If your answer is that they were proud of their actions, then why would they not have announced their guilt? Why would they not have taken credit immediately, or in the days following?
- Why would they have not only stayed in the immediate vicinity, but gone back to their normal every day lives?
- Wouldn't a "radicalized" person(s) determined enough to take such actions either have: a) declared their actions proudly b) fled the area, and country (considering they are of Chechen decent), immediately after or c) if they didn't care if their faces were seen, and therefor were easily identified, because they supposedly didn't care if they died for their cause (radicalized) then why no suicide bomb attempt, or attempt afterward?
- Lastly, if they had planned out this event wouldn't a get away plan have been in place, even the most minor such as leaving immediately to another state, let alone another country, along with Tamerlan planning for his family's safety and possible passage out of the state/country as well?
- Why, indeed, was there no "Escape plan", nor suicide or disguise attempt? Why would they go back to their normal lives, to only all of the sudden run from authorities, especially KNOWING they were watched by the FBI for years?
THE STORY OF AZAMAT TAZHAYAKOV, DIAS KADYRBAYEV AND ROBEL PHILLIPOS
By now, I'm sure most have become somewhat familiar with the story of Dzhokhar's friends, Azamat, Dias and Robel; three college friends of the Boston bombing suspect. If not, feel free to review the links below to get the bulk of the story regarding their actions and subsequent arrests.
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/boston-pd-arrested-bombing-article-1.1332039
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/specials/criminal_complaint_kadyrbayev_tazhayakov/ (Official complaint)
Now, let's break down the actions discussed within the criminal complaint in regards to Aza, Dias and Robel.
- The complaint states on page 8, section 22 of the complaint, that Dzhokhar had "appeared to have given himself a short haircut", as if to imply that he had cut his hair to hide, or as a disguise technique. In reality, he tweeted from his twitter account (@J_tsar ) on April 13th, two days BEFORE the bombings, that he had gotten a haircut. https://twitter.com/J_tsar/status/323189623058739200
- According to Dias, after seeing photos that resembled Dzhokhar on the news, sent a text to him telling him he looked like one of the suspects, to which Dzhokhar replied with "Lol", and such joking comments as "you better not text me" and "come to my room and take whatever you want." Even Dias admits to these texts as appearing to be JOKES; as in Dzhokhar did NOT actually believe he was a suspect and was poking fun at the comparison. ( see pg. 9 (according to papers), sections 23 and 24 of complaint)
- The complaint implies that the boys removed the bag of fireworks because they "knew" then that Dzhokhar was involved with the bombings. In reality, these boys most likely took this bag of fireworks for one of two reasons: 1) they were concerned they would use the fireworks to implicate their friend, and removed them hastily and out of fear, WITHOUT being asked to 2) the fireworks were in fact simply used at the time of removal, and the boys took them with the fear of the implications on their friend. Then took the laptop as to appear to "not be stealing" , but most likely did not destroy the computer, as a tweet from @J_tsar account states on Dec. 9th, 2012 shows that his computer was damaged: https://twitter.com/J_tsar/status/277872617967468544 , though it is possible he had attained a new computer or had it fixed by April.
- The fact that the fireworks had been emptied is less relevant considering these facts:
2) A firework expert form the American Pyrotechnics Association stated that the powder in the fireworks purchased by Tamerlan Tsarnaev, and used by Dzhokhar, would not be powerful enough to make the level of explosions seen at the Marathon, and would not create a white smoke afterward as seen at the marathon:
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/american-pyrotechnics-association-offers-information-regarding-fireworks-devices- implicated-in-boston-bombing-investigation-2013-04-25
- The media led the public to believe that these young men had thrown these items out at the bequest of Dzhokhar, when in reality they did it of their own free will, after panicking in response to their friends current predicament. The texts to the boys from Dzhokhar simply stated "come to my room and take what you want" and "I'm about to leave, if you need something in my room take it." These statements seem to correlate with the description of "Jahar's" character already given by friends and family.
In conclusion, we have a group of nervous, scared friends who took matters into their own hands and discarded of the items afterward. These kids are 19 years old and are not infallible and at the time knew nothing about the case, as none of the rest of us did either. They reacted out of fear and panic without any request from Dzhokhar.
THE NIGHT OF THE ALLEGED "SHOOTOUT"
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/19/boston-shootout-timeline_n_3115678.html
At approximately 10:20 pm on April 18th officer Sean Collier is reported shot while responding to a disturbance on the MIT campus
1) The police scanner announcing the shooting describe the suspect as a black male:
11:44 Okay coming in, heading to an area on the street, give me a description
11:50 Black male about 120, wearing black clothing, that's all we have right now
12:00 Black male 120, black clothing
11:50 Black male about 120, wearing black clothing, that's all we have right now
12:00 Black male 120, black clothing
2) There was also another gunman in the area at the time of the shooting, who is confirmed as the man who robbed the 7-ll the Tsarnaev's supposedly stopped at (although an initial photo showing the Tsarnaev's on surveillance has since proven to be from the Shell station and not the 7-11)

http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/351783
3) The police say it was the Tsarnaev's who supposedly shot officer Collier for his weapon, which they DID NOT take. Why would they need another weapon when authorities have reported that they had a perpetual "arsenal" with them? If they did indeed own and have on their persons, or in their vehicles, the reported machete (Ibragim Todashev anyone? More on him later on the Smoke and Mirrors page), knife, five IED's and a handgun, why would they need or want to kill an officer for his handgun, and then not even take it? (refer to official indictment of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev)
4) Sean Collier was friends with Richard Donahue, who was the first to respond to Collier's shooting and just so happened to be shot by "friendly fire" during Dzhokhar's supposed escape, severely injured, spent several weeks in the hospital recovering and now maintains that he has no memory of that night.

The Carjacking
Carjack victim "Danny" tells his story to a reporter:
Now, let's break down the story and add in the questions left lingering, along with the obvious inconsistencies:
First, review this interesting account of the gas station owner regarding "Danny" and the events of that night:
http://m.now.msn.com/tarek-ahmed-gas-station-worker-describes-boston-carjacking-victim-panic
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/04/19/gas-station-owner-worker-recounts-moment-man-carjacked-by-bombing-suspects/
(So, in the original story from the gas station attendant, Danny was a "white" male, not Chinese?)
Now onto "Danny's" story
1) "Danny" explains that he is carjacked while stopping to text a friend back. It was nearly 11 pm; approximately 35 to 40 minutes after the shooting of officer Collier. Tamerlan knocks on the window; unable to hear him Danny rolls the window down more and Tamerlan puts his arm in the vehicle and opens the door. He gets in, brandishing a silver gun and tells him "don't be stupid." Then he immediately claims guilt in the Boston Marathon and to killing an MIT cop? That little piece of the puzzle that authorities were looking for? Convenient. But okay, let's say that's how it went down for supposed "intimidation purposes."
2) Initial stories claimed the carjacking lasted as little as 30 minutes, while Danny's story now claims 90 minutes.
3) Initially, Dzhokhar followed in a second vehicle; unlike initial reports which stated that both brothers entered the vehicle upon initiating the carjacking. They then stopped on a side street where Tamerlan and Dzhokhar both loaded "several bags" into the back of Danny's SUV. Danny did not attempt to escape in a heavily populated area where help was so near? Tamerlan and Dzhokhar simply left Danny in the vehicle, assuming he wouldn't flee? Okay, maybe Danny was too afraid. Maybe Tamerlan assumed that as well. What street was Dzhokhar's vehicle left on? We must assume they parked the vehicle and left it, considering in later stories after Danny's escape, and during a police chase, we are told both suspects were in the same SUV and throwing "bombs" and "crude grenades" at police. So why then, does the car appear to be angled as if it were driven, and appear to still be running in these photographs? How did the Honda end up at the scene of the "shootout" in which Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed?
4) If in fact, the Tsarnaev's had came back to the Honda to retrieve it after the car chase with police, what would be the point? Why even slow down, let alone stop while being chased by pursuing law enforcement? Again, why would the vehicle be angled so oddly and appear to be running? Also, why stop at all? And if there were no police in front of the vehicle, and in the opposite direction in which the suspects are facing, why stop at all? If there are police coming at you from both ends, why stand in a fashion that will only protect you from one end? Were there police on both ends of the street? If so why are there no, or potentially very few, bullet holes in the front of the green Honda, as shown below after the night of the shootout?
Then there is this video of the well-known and eye witness Andrew Kitzenberg, from whom the photos of that night originated. (Notice now he only describes police being located BEHIND the SUV and the apparent shootout taking place in that direction.)
Okay, so maybe you're thinking these heavily trained police officers are just really bad shots, or didn't take many shots? Or was gunfire coming from only one end? If there were only police on one end, why did the suspects not continue their flee in one of the vehicles? Why would Dzhokhar get in the SUV and turn int TOWARD the police and gunfire to escape when he was mere feet from another street and alternate escape? Were there police at the other end of the street that they just "forgot" to mention?
Alright, then, there are more questions, such as why are there no photos or videos of the police chase that occurred, showing the suspects being pursued along with the bombs being thrown, shots being fired, and subsequent stopping at the Honda? Is there dash cam footage? Is this something that may be used in court?
Last questions; how and why would you light a pressure cooker bomb, and then throw it??
Where are the images or videos of the "smoke that filled the street" or Dzhokhar fleeing the scene? Or either brother actually throwing an explosive?

5) Coming back to Danny's story, neither Tamerlan or Dzhokhar attempted to hide their faces from Danny, yet Tamerlan supposedly yelled at him "don't look at me!" and asked "do you remember my face?" then continues to have regular conversation with him for 90 minutes, knowing that he had just identified himself as the Boston bomber, who's face was all over the news anyway?? Then Tamerlan also informed Danny that they would not kill him, but would drive him to a location farther away where he would have to walk a ways to get to anyone. So, he didn't want Danny looking at him, even though he told him who he was, admitted to the bombings and his face was all over the news already and was going to let him go?
6) When Danny told him he was Chinese, Tamerlan responded with "I'm Muslim," instead of "I'm Chechen" ? Some say it's because Muslim's are often stereotyped like Chinese are at times, but aren't Chechen's as well? I understand that identifying as a Muslim would be important to Tamerlan, but that is not his nationality. Islam is not a country, it is a faith. Tamerlan, someone said to be of a growing religious consciousness, would have known and enjoined that ideal onto others, don't you think?
7) During idle conversation Tamerlan asks Danny if the SUV, a newer Mercedes SUV, would be able to go out of state? Asks specifically if it could go to New York? What would be the purpose of asking if a newer fully loaded mint condition vehicle, which they reportedly discussed during the ordeal, could make it to New York? This statement, out of any of them, makes the absolute least amount of sense. There would be absolutely no point in Tamerlan asking these questions.
8) Tamerlan stops at ATM and has Dzhokhar go in with Danny's card. In the photo from the ATM Dzhokhar appears to be wearing Tamerlan's hat, but is not covering his face at all. What would the purpose be?
Why wear an over-sized hat, yet not cover your face when the Camera will catch your face, which is the basic form of identification? Also, Dzhokhar reportedly withdrew $800 dollars from the ATM. In my experience,Bank of America does not allow more than $500 to be withdrawn from ATM's a day. Can anyone confirm different limits for different customers, or in different areas? How would he be able to get that much?

9) When at the gas station, the pump was cash only and Tamerlan had Dzhokhar go inside to pay while he stayed in the vehicle with Danny. In the surveillance photo from the Shell gas station, Dzhokhar is apparently leaving the station with snacks and drinks in his hand, and appears calm and casual, as Tamerlan hangs just outside the door; also appearing calm and casual. Why is Tamerlan in the photo if he stayed in the vehicle with Danny? If it was after Danny escaped why doesn't he appear to be in a hurry or more worried to leave the gas station? If they were so worried about escaping that they carjacked an SUV to get away, then the carjack victim had just fled the scene and they knew he would be calling authorities, why would they be so calm? At that point would you be worried about appearing calm if you knew that your hostage who had just gotten away could identify you anyway?? What would be the point?
10) If Tamerlan was so "evil" as to actually bomb the Marathon, then kill an officer in cold blood for a gun that he didn't even take, shooting him several times, why would he let Danny live? Many want to say that Tamerlan hates American's, and maybe he let him go because he is Chinese, yet Tamerlan was married to an American woman, has an American child, and at one point, attempted to qualify to represent America for boxing?
11) In the original criminal complaint, it states that both brothers entered the gas station and that is how Danny escaped, yet Danny explains that only Dzhokhar entered the store and that Tamerlan stayed in the vehicle. Why would Tamerlan leave Danny in the car to go inside? Why the inconsistencies?
12) Where is the CCTV (security camera) footage from the gas station cameras on the pumps outside? There are at least three in total on the outside of this Shell station. Will we see this video in court?

The Shootout
1) Why was the green Honda at the scene of the shootout? Why would the brothers go back to the vehicle if they had already loaded "several heavy bags", as according to Danny, into the back of the SUV? Why would they have left anything substantial behind to need to go back, especially during a police chase full of bomb throwing and gun shots?
2) What is this photo? Authorities stated that Dzhokhar "ran over" his brother with the SUV as he was fleeing the scene, yet the photo below shows the green Honda being driven without the SUV near it. According to the link before the photo, Dzhokhar got into the CAR in order to flee the scene while police took down Tamerlan. When and how does the SUV come into play? So what actually happened that night? And why did a witness say a POLICE SUV ran over Tamerlan? (images and video below) If Dzhokhar did in fact take the SUV, what is this photo showcasing?
http://www.capitalbay.com/headline/333845-new-pictures-reveal-boston-bomber-brothers-dramatic-shootout-with-police.html
3) Both the recording of the police scanner as well as the Police Commissioners report stated that Dzhokhar escaped on foot from the scene. Was this before or after he drove the Honda attempting to leave the scene? What about the SUV?
http://www.whatthefolly.com/2013/04/19/transcript-press-briefing-qa-with-massachusetts-state-police-on-the-search-for-the-boston-marathon-suspect-in-watertown-6-p-m-briefing-on-april-19-2013/
4) When Dzhokhar left the scene in the reported SUV, why wasn't there any pursuit? The vehicle was found just 4/10 of a mile from the shootout scene, where he is alleged to have abandoned it and escaped on foot. If there was pursuit, how did they NOT catch him?
5) The boat he surrendered in was only 2/10 of a mile from the SUV. He was only a few blocks from where the initial stand-off with police took place. It was initially reported that the area the boat was in was "outside the search perimeter", which consisted of a 20 block area. How could the boat, mere blocks from the initial stand-off and 2/10 of a mile from the SUV, be "outside the search perimeter"? It was later admitted that it was, indeed, inside the perimeter. So then why was the boat NOT searched? How was he not found during the search? Isn't a parked and covered boat an obvious place to hide? If there was a "pool of blood" outside the vehicle as reported, wouldn't there have been a blood trail, even of the smallest amount, to track? Please refer to the link below, which includes this information as well as the links explaining the perimeter.

6)These next two topics regarding that night are slightly more controversial (if you can believe that) regarding the relayed information and the given circumstances.
First, who is the "Naked Man" in the arrest video from that night that bears such a striking resemblance to Tamerlan Tsarnaev? Why did his Aunt identify the man in the video as being Tamerlan? Why hasn't this man been identified to clear up this supposed misunderstanding?
